Factorials are represented with an “!” symbol.  They tell you to multiply the number before the ! by every positive integer before it.  For instance,


5! = 5*4*3*2*1 = 120


In general, for any positive integer n, we have


n! = n*(n - 1)*(n - 2)*...*3*2*1
